Two Truths

Dual-Headed Female Bust

$2.00$1.50

A traveling artist once said that a person’s real face changes depending on who is watching. In one mirror you look steady and composed. In another, something sharp and playful looks back, daring you to admit what you usually hide. He tried to capture both states in a single sculpture, so the viewer has to walk around it and choose which truth feels closer.

This model is a dual-headed female bust that joins two contrasting portraits back-to-back on one shared neck and upper torso. The human face features a calm, focused expression with smooth planes, defined cheek structure, and swept-back hair gathered into a bun. The reverse head shifts into a horned, mischievous counterpart with a wide grin, pronounced facial lines, and small horns emerging from the forehead. The piece sits on a stepped circular base that provides stability and a clean presentation for display.

The sculpt reads well from multiple angles, with a strong silhouette and clear separation between the two identities. It works as a dark-fantasy or psychological art bust, a collector display piece, or a painting project where you can treat each side as a different character. The surfaces are arranged to support both smooth blending on skin and sharper highlights on horns, teeth, and wrinkles.

This model is based on an original concept and design. The initial 3D form was generated with the assistance of AI tools, after which it was extensively refined and manually detailed in Blender and other 3D editing software. This workflow ensures the model meets the standards of precision, structure, and print-readiness required for high-quality 3D printing.

Please note that the model is primarily designed for textured versions (OBJ + MTL in ZIP archive), allowing for a rich and visually detailed result when used with color-supported 3D printing or digital rendering. The non-textured version (STL, 3MF) may lack some surface details visible in the textured formats. The formats included are STL, OBJ, MTL, and BLEND.

  • Recommended print technology

    • Resin printers for clean facial features, hair strands, and horn edges.

    • FDM printers at larger sizes with tuned supports and slower outer walls.

  • Suggested resin settings

    • Layer height: 0.05 mm

    • Orientation: tilt 20–30° to preserve facial planes and reduce suction

    • Supports: medium supports under both chins, hair overhangs, and horn tips

    • Hollowing: 2–3 mm wall thickness with drain holes hidden under the base

  • Suggested FDM settings

    • Layer height: 0.12–0.16 mm, 0.4 mm nozzle

    • Walls: 2–3 perimeters, infill 14–18%

    • Supports: required for horns, chins, and deeper facial recesses

    • Material: PLA for ease, PETG for tougher horns and edges

  • Recommended size, time, material

    • Recommended height: 140–180 mm for display and painting

    • Supports: required for reliable results

    • Minimum print time to plan for: 480 minutes

    • Material estimate at ~160 mm: Resin 110–160 g or Filament 130–190 g, depending on hollowing and infill

Scaling Note: This model is designed in millimeters (mm). If it appears too small when imported into your slicer, ensure your software is set to mm units. If needed, scale the model up 100x if the slicer defaults to meters instead.
