Pleiadian Envoy
Sci-Fi Contact Figure
$2.00
There are old stories about visitors who did not arrive in ships of war, but in silence. They appeared calm, spoke little, and seemed more interested in observation than conquest. This figure is built around that idea: a humanoid envoy from an advanced civilization, standing in a formal greeting pose, dressed in a fitted uniform that suggests diplomacy, exploration, and discipline rather than combat.
The model depicts a tall male sci-fi character with shoulder-length hair, a composed facial expression, and one raised hand as if offering a greeting or signal of peaceful contact. The suit is sleek and structured, with layered panels, reinforced seams, utility elements at the belt, and armored details on the forearms, shoulders, knees, and boots. Small insignia on the chest and shoulder help reinforce the uniformed, interstellar look. The stance is upright and balanced, which makes the model suitable for display, painting, or use as a commander, officer, explorer, or emissary in sci-fi tabletop settings.
The sculpt combines realistic human proportions with a clean futuristic costume design. Facial features are smooth and readable. The hair has enough flow and volume to catch highlights in painted or rendered versions. The suit panels create clear separations for color blocking, edge highlighting, or metallic accents. Because the pose is stable and symmetrical, the figure works well as a collectible display piece and also prints more reliably than wide-action poses.
This model is based on an original concept and design. The initial 3D form was generated with the assistance of AI tools, after which it was extensively refined and manually detailed in Blender and other 3D editing software. This workflow ensures the figure maintains its unique character and meets the standards of precision, structure, and print-readiness required for high-quality 3D printing.
Please note that the model is primarily designed for textured versions (OBJ + MTL in ZIP archive), allowing for a rich and visually detailed result when used with color-supported 3D printing or digital rendering. The non-textured version (STL, 3MF) may lack some surface details visible in the textured formats.
Recommended print technology
Resin printers for the best results on the face, hair, insignia, and suit seams.
FDM printers can also produce good results at medium or larger scale because the pose is stable and compact.
Suggested resin settings
Layer height: 0.03–0.05 mm
Orientation: slight backward tilt to preserve facial features and reduce support marks on the front
Supports: light to medium supports under the raised hand, fingers, chin, belt accessories, and boot edges
Hollowing: optional at larger scales, with 2–3 mm wall thickness and drain holes hidden under the feet or lower legs
Suggested FDM settings
Layer height: 0.12–0.16 mm with a 0.4 mm nozzle
Walls: 2–3 perimeters, infill 12–18%
Supports: recommended under the raised hand, belt attachment, and some forearm details
Material: PLA for easy printing or PETG for extra durability
Recommended size and print estimates
Recommended height: 160–200 mm for display, or 100–120 mm for tabletop character use
Supports: recommended
Minimum print time to plan for: 420 minutes
Material estimate at about 180 mm height: Resin 110–170 g or Filament 130–210 g, depending on hollowing and infill
Scaling Note: This model is designed in millimeters (mm). If it appears too small when imported into your slicer, ensure your software is set to mm units. If needed, scale the model up 100x if the slicer defaults to meters instead.
